Should Facebook subscribers cancel, or switch? I'm scared for streaming and is it all over?

It isn't over there, Facebook is still providing a 100% split and offers 5 monthly alert TTS messages included because I created a custom tool to accommodate. All my usual content is continuing as it has been!

So it's an awesome offer to keep if you are there already, or want to sub avoiding any platform cuts (note: must sub on Facebook through browser or desktop to also avoid google/apple app store fees).

While it's obviously a tough change, the good news is we are more robust and diversified through a multiplatform strategy, and while still a risk, I think will result in a net positive over time.

If I switch my sub from Facebook is there anything else I get?

Those subbed on Facebook who switch and sub to another platform, may send a "Modmail" ticket on Discord with proof of past subscription to get a badge acknowledging your "Facebook OG Sub" status. (This will be done manually and will take time to process)

Does Facebook connect with Discord?

No, Facebook doesn't support Discord integration and while the Behind the Scenes content will be posted there too, if you really want the Discord perks I recommend subbing directly on Discord. In the past we manually managed subs there and it did not go great and cannot accommodate.

Twitch and Youtube do link to Discord giving you a sub there as well!

What platform is the best one for you as streamer for us to sub on?

My goal is to let YOU sub where you want. Whatever platform you use the most and enjoy the content, is where you should sub so you can enjoy the benefits and content more often.

All platforms I am using have solid benefits now and enable me to do what I do while providing extra value. There are streamers exclusive to each of these that do great, and I think through my custom solutions we can do even more!

Which is your main platform and be reading the most?

All platforms are the same. I have implemented a custom tool to combine all chat and alert feeds into 1, so I won't prio any specific chat. Use Yt, Twitch, Facebook, or even the chatroom in Discord.

Note that you cannot watch directly through Discord, but I messages in Stream Chat will go to my chatfeed.

How are ads on each stream and do you remove them?

I try to leave it a balanced experience, and some choose ad blockers but if you want to avoid them on:

Youtube - You must have Youtube Premium

Twitch - Subbing to the channel or using Twitch Prime will remove ads

Facebook - Natively doesn't have many ads on stream, but cannot be blocked

All ads do support the channel, but I leave it to you.

Why aren't you just using 1 platform?

I have built audience on each platform for a long time, and now they all have solid offerings I believe I can build to provide excellent experiences for without forcing people to switch.

I have found over the years getting people to change to a different platform is extremely hard, which is why I am building native experiences on each and do the content lifting for you.

This also helps me to diversify as content and seasons change.

How do revenue splits with platforms work?

It is all public information, and the adsplit is the same on each, so I will round it up for your overview the sub splits via PC or browser:

Twitch - 70% me/ 30% them
Youtube - 70% me/ 30% them
Facebook -100% me/ 0% them

Discord gives 90% me/ 10% them, but they don't provide the stream feed.
If you don't care about the perks, Discord is the best place to sub besides Facebook

If you sub via Google or Apple stores there it will cost 30% more

Can I watch the stream on Discord?

Not directly unless someone else is watching and shares their screen (which they can do if wanted). Not everyone watches the streams, and this is essentially my Patreon option, that if you just want some perks while giving me the best support you can.

I have created some tools with more coming to let there be a similar experience if you choose to sub here, including TTS montheversary messages on the way. I used to use this back in our Patreon days.
